Lee has more than 20 years experience working across interactive technology and mobile services. From 2004 – 2007 Lee developed technology for mobile sports gaming and marketing. During this time he delivered mobile payments for some of the world’s largest football clubs and sports teams.
Since then he has founded and exited three digital tech and marketing business spanning mobile, Wi-Fi, social insight and IPTV. Lee was a Co-Founder of Eskimo Media and Technology, an innovation company specialising in data-driven events and platforms for music, sport and brands. Clients included Samsung, MasterCard, News International, Universal Music and the BBC. Eskimo has created partnerships with Deutsche Telekom and SAP to support its big data platform and drive its consumer insight research.
Edward spent 10 years building and leading successful technology businesses including Technophobia (Times Fast Track Winner) which he oversaw during the acquisition by Capita IT Services a company for which he oversaw multiple technology acquisitions. Since then Edward has raised multiple £millions for ventures including Bright North (top UK start-ups to work for), Flutr.com, Easy Movie and numerous others. Edward brings with him a vast amount of digital industry knowledge.
As Vice President Telefonica Europe Mike’s focus today is on European Public policy that relates to innovation, whether research, the responsible use of mobiles or new business development. This includes a focus on Advanced mobile services and data applications including Mobile Learning, Smart Metering, Transport Telematics and Connected Healthcare.
In the last 5 years Mike has also been appointed Visiting Professor at Surrey University, De Montfort, Lancaster, and Leeds Universities and to the Boards of Coventry University and Ravensbourne College. He was awarded an honorary Doctorate in 2008 for services to the Mobile Communications industry. He is a Fellow of IET/BCS/RGS/ Royal Academy and a Member of the Royal Television Society, and was honoured with a CBE for services to the Mobile industry in June 2012 .
In 2005 Rob and his family relocated to Bentonville, Arkansas in the US as he took up the position of Group Vice President, Wal-Mart and Global Sourcing for Handleman US.
On his return to the UK and Prior to joining Tesco in 2008 he was interim CEO of Blueprint Digital and then Sales and Marketing Director for EUK, his second term at the Woolworths Group owned wholesale distributor.
He Joined Tesco in July 2008 as Category Director for Entertainment. During his time at Tesco Rob managed the acquisition of Handleman UK and its transformation to Oakwood Distribution. He was also on the boards of Blinkbox, and on the Exec Boards of the Entertainment Retail Association (ERA). He was also Chairman of the Official Charts Company (OCC), where he oversaw a complete re-brand of the organisation and the introduction of the Number 1 awards in 2012.
Gabbi has over 20 years experience in creating, positioning and developing the brands of early stage, growth stage and global businesses. He founded his first agency aged 23 and has worked across the entire marketing mix, in every major market and pretty much every sector. He is the founder of Cahane & Associates, a strategy consultancy focused on enabling large corporates to drive innovation and change; discover new business models and revenue streams; improve reputations, influence and value. He is the co-founder of Meanwhile, a ‘Venture Marketing’ firm focused on enabling growth stage companies to identify, create, position, build, develop, grow, acquire and sell brands.
